OK! so our dear friends, Lana & her honey, Guy bought us all tickets to go see HEART/JOURNEY & CHEAP TRICK in LAS VEGAS... OMG!! this was a much needed mini vacation for my honey and I... we had sooooooooooooooo much fun!! the concert was AMAZING!! and Journey's new lead singer surprised me... he ROCKED!! when HEART came on, I was shocked also.. Anne's voice is still so freakin' awesome after all these years!! wow those sisters know how to ROCK!! CHEAP TRICK was amazing too!! it was SO much fun being at this concert and having these bands take me back in time.... JOURNEY was definitely 'jf. high' times for me and HEART.... well, geez... high school mostly...... how I looooooooooooove 80's music!!!! LOL
thank you Lana & Guy for such an amazing experience for both my honey & I......... AND for reminding me of how much I truly love these bands!!!!
p.s. we were not allowed to bring cameras BUT somehow we were able to sneak 'em in.. and YES! ME.. miss. RULE FOLLOWER, snuck in her camera (under her shirt-mind you) -only cause there was no time for me to THINK about it... hee hee =) yeah! I know... big DORK here!!

The DRAMA never seems to end...
WOW!! how is it that people who continue to HATE and show the world how proud they are of 'hating' go on in life?? I mean, REALLY!! how is it possible for people to have no cares at all for ANYTHING??!! it just boggles my mind, REALLY...
I know deep in my heart that God always sees it all and that even those with evil motives will 'pay' for their wrongdoings but it is just so hard to sit back and watch those who keep 'attacking'- live such a "I don't give a shit' life.... UGH..
Frustrating, and the only thing I can keep telling myself to feel any kind of comfort is this: Everything happens for a reason and God will never abandon me.......

Well, here we are... the end of another year :O( WOW... it is always so bittersweet when another year ENDS!!! it's so final!! There is no way of going back and changing things you wish you could change. But the good thing is, a new year begins and you have the opportunity to make things BETTER.
We had a wonderful Christmas this year! Dale and I and the children stayed home for Christmas and relaxed and enjoyed our Holiday together with no having to RUSH anywhere! the Kids had a blast with all they got for christmas and they enjoyed playing with their new toys on Christmas day :O)
We took off to Big Bear for a night and two days... and we had a lot of fun in the snow! We always do when we go there.... big bear is difintely our 'special' getaway place :O)
My little girl is now sick :O( but I am glad we have this next week of school so she has a chance to get well before going back!
New year's Eve is tonight and we will be celebrating at home! It'll be nice and cozy for us four! maybe tomorrow we cna take the kids to the movies, we hardly EVER get to do that! :O)

who would have thought that volunteering would be such DRAMA....???!!!!
I volunteered for 'everything' in my daughter's Kindergarten class.... and we've barely been in school a month and I had to deal with DRAMA already... t hings have been cleared up so I am now at peace and hope to have a FANTASTIC school year at my kiddos school!!
What a blessing it is to be able to not have to work and 'be there' for my children... I remember the days when I worked and was SO exhausted and I 'craved' to have the title of SAHM!! I am loving my life as a SAHM!!! and I thank GOD all the time for this wonderful opportunity!!
although I may VENT to my BFF's from time to time (OKAY, EVERY day pretty much-lol) I DO thoroughly enjoy the life I am living and helping out with school activities is just a wonderful thing....
I cannot remember my mom EVER being at ANYTHING at my school... only , maybe ONE or TWO chritmas programs but other than that... NADA....... oh, and what about pictures!!??? Jeez....... my mom did NOT do a very good job with taking pictures when I was growing up. Maybe THAT explains my obsession with photography and scrapbooking!! :O}

BACK TO SCHOOL

Well, this past Wednesday was back to school for my babies... Drake entered the fourth grade and my little Devyn entered Kindergarten... where did the time go??? I am always very depressed that first day of school but I think this year it really HIT me! I mean, my BABY is in BIG girl school now!!! Lucky for me I won't have time to sit and dwell on the fact that my babies are growing up! I am volunteering at the school a ton so I'm sure I will be TOO busy to be sad :O(
This first week went by fast and the kiddos seemed to have had a BLAST at school. They are both happy with their teachers and glad to be back in school :O)
